Setting of the Sun.

The right lighting and a well-angled camera... Gets me thinking about what it would have been like to witness the creation of the world...

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

Genesis 1:14-19

Thanks so much! Its a few weeks old.... I took the shot and loved it, and that week I found out about sweet shot Tuesday. I was excited to have a sweet shot to share, but that was the week that the 31 day series started. So I've been holding out since then.
One thing I gotta say about this photo -- My husband has been an awesome sport as I've been learning photography. :-) He rocks, and in my world he not only hung the moon, but the sun too!

Gorgeous! I hope you're also using it for iheartfaces's silhouette challenge. And the greater concept with the scripture is superb. I wonder if that is how it looked during creation :)

It just made me smile, and though it's not actually the same thing, now I'm humming "He's got the whole world in His hands".... :)
